This is a children’s book to accompany a piano method book. At first, the reader will find it hard to believe that one book that talks about a story of a cat, is going to be a music guide at the same time. That is when they open a book and enter a world where the story of a beautiful friendship and kindness overflows like a river.

There is a dramatic storyline throughout the whole book as opposed to single separate scenes with a picture. In this children’s book, The Case of the Hidden Treasure, students relate each note to a character and can’t wait to learn about the next character. There are accompanying worksheets available, as well as this novel. The novel is for parental involvement and extension of the learning and attachment to the characters and learning process.
